Krista Young, DO, CLC

Dr. Young was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school before moving to South Carolina to complete her pediatric residency training at Prisma Health in Columbia. She is excited to return to Michigan and help serve the community where she grew up. She has a special interest in breastfeeding and lactation, and has her certification as a lactation counselor. 

Dr. Young and her husband have a daughter, which she believes has helped strengthen her understanding of the needs of both her patients and their parents. Her rambunctious toddler and two energetic Australian shepherds keep her active outside of work. She and her family enjoy getting outdoors, whether that be biking, hiking, swimming, or tailgating for MSU football. She also loves to travel and is always planning her next adventure.
